We do not have to wait till the last day, the day of the resurrection when Jesus returns, to become a new creation. It all starts here and now. It starts on the day God reconciles us with Godself. On that day we celebrate by singing and shouting:  The old has gone, the new is here!

2 Timothy 1:5-6 - “I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.  For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.”

Trinity Sunday is observed on the first Sunday after Pentecost.
Our confession of the Holy Trinity is not about asking a mathematical question about how 3 can be one and one can be 3. Because it is a divine mystery.

The Ascension of Jesus Christ must be essential, crucial, to all Christians. The future of God‘s work and the Church is at stake - for only by the power of Christ that rose from the dead, and rose to heaven, do we have a future, do we have a vision of divine victory, can we have hope and can we have faith.

On Ascension Day we proclaim that Jesus is our Lord. That he died for our sins and has been raised from the dead and has risen to heaven.
He is alive forever, and he was enthroned at the right hand of God the Father and has been given all authority in heaven and on earth on the first Ascension Day, 2000 years ago.
