Do we give the message of the resurrection of Christ enough thought and time in congregational life? Do we contemplate enough that Jesus is risen. That he is risen indeed!

Good Friday is a commemoration of the day of the immense suffering and crucifixion of Jesus. So why call it good?
Because it is a crucial day that celebrates the most significant moment in the history of the world.

The majority of Christians across the globe refer to the week that begins with Palm Sunday and ends with Easter Sunday, as “Holy Week”. We follow Jesus from his triumphal entry on Palm Sunday (28 March), to his cross, death and burial (1 – 3 April)  and his glorious resurrection (4 April).

Why do some people find it so hard, even impossible, to believe, even during this Season of Lent?
Paul says it is because they are spiritually veiled to the extent that they became blind for the glory of Christ - for the glorious gospel of how the eternal Son of God came to us in human form to save us from our sin and from the ideologies of this world.
