Jesus gave us a clear command when he said that we must “do this in remembrance of him.” To stay away from the Lord’s table, without any reason, or rather good reason, is to shun the Lord and his plan and intention to comfort us and build us up in our holy faith at his table! It is the Lord who invites, no, urges us, to share in this means of his grace.
