Israel experienced the power of God's Word, a Word spoken by a prophet of God. That Word could not be removed from Israel's life. It was more powerful than the words of the king and certainly much more powerful than the prayers of the priests of the false god, Baal.

The Holy Trinity is not an optional "extra" to God. It is the nature of God as revealed to us in Scripture. The biblical truth about the Trinity has become a pressing issue for contemporary Christians, simply because we are losing the biblical account of God in the way we speak and we are therefore at risk to ignore this ancient teaching without controversy or debate.
