On the day Jesus ascended to heaven, he commissioned us to build his Church and proclaim his eternal Kingdom.
Let us therefore come together on Thursday and sing a new song unto the ascended King to learn anew to honour, obey, worship, praise and hail our eternal King of glory.

The Ascension of Jesus Christ, celebrated and observed on 30 May this year, is based on the Christian teaching in the New Testament that Christ Jesus was taken up to heaven in his resurrected body, in the presence of eleven of his disciples.

Three of the most heartbreaking, but realistic, words in the New Testament are found in Luke 24: 21: “We had hoped.” This expression says, “Our hope is dead. It is a thing of the past. It will not return to us”.
