Ash Wednesday is observed on Wednesday 26 February 2020, a day of humble repentance, because repentance is the beginning of the journey of remembrance, forgiveness, growth and eventually victory in Christ!

“Remembrance” is key to Biblical worship. To remember what Jesus did for our salvation is therefore the benchmark of a Biblical celebration of Ash Wednesday, the Lenten Season, Holy Week and Easter.

When tragedy strikes, or when we find that we are different from others in whatever way, or that things happened to us that influenced our self image and our emotional security, we may know that the transforming power of the love of Jesus Christ has the capacity to give us a new identity and a new sense of self worth!
